Waist Trainer Gone Wrong

For weeks I went back and forth trying to decide if I was going to buy a waist trainer. I have a few pounds that I wanted to get rid of and I heard about how they could help especially with postpartum weight. I got advice from a friend to get a size small. I ordered it and I was so excited when it got delivered.
I couldn't wait to open the package and try it on. I opened it. I looked at it. I held it up. I stretched it. Is this right? I checked the size and it said small. Ok so maybe, I just need to put it on. I put it on and attempted to close it and I realized..."houston we have a problem". I couldn't even bring it together to button it up. I called my friend and told her and then I showed her on camera what was happening. Boy did we laugh! It just did not seem humanly possible to put that waist trainer on but I went to work.
She coached me as I huffed and sucked in and squeezed in until finally I got it on. It was a sight to see! LOL. It was so tight that I was scared to take a deep breath. 🤣After a bunch of laughter and frustration on my part, it was on and I could now put in the work to get the results I wanted.
Sometimes when you have an idea and it seems that it won't work, it is like a waist trainer. You do everything you can to make it work but you need some help to get it to fit. Ideas stay ideas unless you are able to execute them. What idea are you sitting on that you have been trying to make work on your own? You might have a million dollar idea but that idea will stay just that unless you have the right people involved to help you reach your goals.
Notice I didn't contact the manufacturer of the waist trainer to help me, but I contacted someone who knew me and would be able to guide me in the right direction. Who you choose to help you with your ideas is equally as important as the idea. Create your idea, determine your goals and figure out who would be best in helping you meet the goal.
Stay motivated and continue to waist train those ideas.
Giving you the ladder up,
Rosalind
