It's Not an Option

We are in the third month of the first quarter in a new decade. Wow! Time continues to fly. For some, this year may not have started on the right note but the great thing is that we can move forward.
We all have a race to run. I went to an event recently in which I listened to a speaker that took this concept a step forward. He said that sometimes to get to where you are trying to get to, you have to leap over some things or people that can hold you back. This made me think. Every connection that you have currently is not for the next destination. Who are you hanging onto that is trying to keep you lame when you are trying to be whole?
We all have our own lanes in which we operate in and we try to be the best that we can be, but somewhere in between the beginning of the year and now, you have probably felt discouragement. It could be from family, your job, your church and it made you feel like giving up. I understand and have been there more than you know, but I want to encourage you. Quitting is not an option.
Within each of us there is a deep desire to want more. Success doesn’t happen overnight. In some cases, it can take years of preparation and lessons to get to the level of success that you are trying to obtain. This could be personally, professionally, or spiritual. In our pursuit of this life, the bible tells us that we are going to face trials. Sometimes those trials are so mountainous that we wonder how we will make it, yet the answer is simple. God gives us what we need day by day. Daily He is providing us with the provision and the grace that we need to endure the day. No matter what you face, you will not be destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8). No weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17)! Let’s walk in our God given authority and stand boldly but most of all…don’t QUIT!
Giving you the ladder up,
Rosalind
