It has been a while! First, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I promise you have been on my mind and heart. 2021 seems to be a roller coaster already but I'm glad to be still here for the ride! So, I just wanted to take this time and update you on some things that I have been blessed to do in this year.
Be more self aware.
Appreciate differences of opinion.
Listen to my body.
Seek the heart of Jesus rather than His hand.
The title of this is don't take it personal but it seems that everything I am mentioning is personal right? Well, when I say don't take it personal for me, it means when I don't get one of the four items I listed right or I don't do it enough--I can't take it so personal that it clouds my thinking and ruins my mood. I've been trying to level up and let go of things that I have no control over. It's hard because the truth is that I like for things to go a certain way all the time. That is just not reality. If things are always in your favor, you wouldn't have a reason to have faith or trust in God's plan for your life. I mean how backwards and arrogant would that be to tell God that you already have the answer and you don't need help.
So, as you go throughout February, don't take it personal. Just do the best you can with what you have and don't give up. There is a lyric from Johnathan McReynolds that says, what I lack you are full of, I'll trust the lover, the lover of my soul. Regardless of what you lack, you still have everything you need.
And a few more things, I have a podcast called Ladder Up. On it, I'm just thinking aloud. Check it out on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Google Podcasts if you have time. Also, I will have new music coming out this month on all digital outlets on February 26. This year, I said my word is "produce" so we're going higher and following His way.
Giving you the ladder up to inspiration, motivation, and education.
Rosalind
