Don't Lose Your Head

The Coronavirus has brought challenges that have challenged the church publicly. It has challenged how we worship and it has exposed our true nature of our personal relationship with God as both individuals and collectively. It has caused us to confront what we have often run away from, but what I love is that it is forcing us to commune more with our families which has been needed for a long time.
With all that is going on in the world, you need other people to help you not lose your head. Losing your head could cause you to forget that even while in a storm, you can still be protected. Scripture never tells us that the weapon won't form but it assures us that it won't prosper. We just have to keep our cool and not lose our heads.
To show how serious things are, within our own nation, we are willing to risk lives for the sake of the economy. I'm not a political person but rather a logical and I try to be a moral person. What could happen after reopening the economy?...unemployment claims rise and claim denials increase due to "limited funding", exposure increases and healthcare and essential employees continue to be overworked with more being infected, stimulus money is spent but businesses reassess their finances and cut hours or close so more jobs are lost...something to think about...but mental health matters, right? Money itself has never been bad but it is the root by which evil doings take place...take away the money and you take away access and then survival of the fittest is enacted...people turn against each other all over a green rectangle with a face on it...something to think about...may the Lord be with us all.
It is critical that we protect our ear gates and be mindful of our thoughts. The enemy thrives in chaos and confusion.
Even in this time, the Lord can still supply all your needs.
The Lord is still has plans for your future. He still wants to prosper you and give you hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
He is always with you and will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)
The Lord is still your light and your salvation so of whom shall you fear. (Psalm 27:1)
Now is not the time to lose your head. Keep the Lord at the forefront and everything else will follow afterwards. If you find yourself needing help, don't be prideful. Just ask. You never know who is willing to help so that they don't lose their head. Storms don't last always and remember that with any storm, we are all in different parts of it. Show compassion. Show love. Always keep Christ as the head.
Giving you the ladder up,
Rosalind
